Tech Lead/Backend Architect

We operate like a startup: lean, fast-moving, and focused on results. We're now investing heavily in our internal tools, building powerful dashboards and systems that help our teams make smarter decisions using real-time analytics and financial data.

We're looking for a Backend Developer & Analyst who enjoys solving business problems with clean, scalable systems. This is a role for someone who wants to build, take ownership, and have a real impact on the way the company operates. You’ll work at the intersection of backend development, data, and business operations, turning complex needs into practical, reliable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design and build the backend architecture for internal products from the ground up

• Develop scalable APIs, services, and data models that support multiple teams

• Translate real business workflows into reliable, maintainable systems

• Work closely with product and business stakeholders to define solutions, not just implement predefined requirements

• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and the quality of our data infrastructure

• Identify opportunities to automate processes and make the business more efficient

• What we’re looking for

• Strong backend engineering and system design skills

• Experience designing scalable applications and APIs

• Comfortable working in fast-changing environments where requirements evolve over time

• Ability to take ownership of projects from idea to implementation

• Someone who naturally identifies problems, proposes solutions, and follows through with execution.

• Strong understanding of databases, data modeling, and software architecture.

• Self-driven, curious, and comfortable making technical decisions independently

• English proficiency at the B2 level or higher

Tech stack

• We currently use Django, but we're technology-agnostic. If you believe another backend stack is a better fit for a particular problem, we're happy to hear your reasoning.

Nice to have

• Experience building Roblox games or backend systems for Roblox

• Personal Roblox projects

• Startup or small-team experience

• Experience with analytics platforms, business intelligence, or financial systems
