Manager Network Planning

Position Overview:

Support the development and continuous optimization of FlyArystan’s network in line with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.

The role is responsible for identifying profitable growth opportunities, developing route business cases, optimizing capacity and fleet deployment, and coordinating the implementation of new and existing routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously optimize FlyArystan’s short- and medium-term network plan
• Identify and evaluate new domestic and international route opportunities based on market size, demand, competition, fares, costs, operational feasibility, and strategic relevance
• Prepare detailed route business cases and recommendations for management approval
• Monitor the performance of existing routes and recommend frequency, capacity, seasonality, timing, or network adjustments to improve profitability
• Optimize aircraft deployment across the network, balancing commercial performance, aircraft utilization, operational constraints, and network efficiency
• Support annual Budget, Forecast, and Long-Term Plan processes through development of network, capacity, ASK, and fleet deployment assumptions
• Coordinate closely with Scheduling to translate the approved network plan into an operationally efficient schedule
• Work with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Airport Procurement, and other stakeholders on route development and network optimization
• Lead the commercial assessment and coordination of new route launches, including proposed frequencies, timings, capacity, launch dates, and expected financial performance
• Analyze competitive capacity, market trends, passenger flows, fare development, and changes in the regulatory environment
• Assess airport, slot, bilateral, infrastructure, and other market-access constraints affecting network development
• Support discussions with airports, tourism authorities, government bodies, and other external stakeholders relating to new routes and capacity development
• Develop traffic forecasts and evaluate O&D, connecting traffic, stimulation potential, and addressable market size
• Ensure that network decisions remain consistent with FlyArystan’s low-cost principles, including high aircraft utilization, efficient fleet deployment, schedule simplicity, and cost discipline
• Prepare network performance analysis, management presentations, and recommendations for senior management
• Manage and develop Network Planning analysts and ensure high-quality analytical standards within the team

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of airline commercial experience, preferably within Network Planning, Network Development, Revenue Management, Scheduling, or Commercial Planning
• Bachelor degree in engineering or economic science preferable
• English language advanced level

• Work experience in a similar position for at least 3 years

• Strong understanding of the LCC business model and airline network economics
• Strong knowledge of route evaluation, demand forecasting, competitive analysis, fleet deployment, and route profitability
• Understanding of airport slots, bilateral traffic rights, airport infrastructure, and operational constraints
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with airline network planning and market intelligence tools is strongly preferred
