Cost Control Engineer

Обязанности:

• Support the preparation of the annual mining production budget (Term Plan).
• Prepare, update, and monitor periodic forecasts.
• Prepare and plan cost items based on the production budget and forecasts.
• Monitor budget and forecast performance and analyze variances.
• Ensure that mining production data is entered into the system accurately and on time.
• Analyze production data and support performance evaluations.
• Prepare comparisons between planned and actual costs.
• Coordinate with the related departments (Mine Geology, Mechanical, etc) to perform cost analyses.
• Analyze material, labor, equipment, contractor, and other operating costs.
• Compare cost and performance between departments.
• Analyze cost variances, identify the root causes, and propose improvement actions.
• Follow up cost reduction projects and analyze their results.
• Prepare periodic reports on production, cost, and performance indicators.
• Present reports and analysis to management and provide the necessary explanations.
• Coordinate with related departments during budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Prepare cost, performance, and productivity analyses to support management decision-making.
• Support continuous improvement of cost control and budgeting processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by management within the scope of the position.

• Experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis, preferably in the mining industry.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English is preferred.

• Work schedule: 5/2

• Workplace: Office building, Ongar settlement, Khromtau district, Voskhod field
