Legal Intern

What We Expect:

• Formation and maintenance of the legal department archive (both physical and electronic)
• Administrative and clerical support for the legal department
• Assistance in contract management (reviewing, formatting, tracking agreements)
• Drafting official correspondence, letters, and claims (pre-litigation notices)
• Preparation of supporting materials for court proceedings and disputes
• Handling incoming/outgoing documentation and registry
• Supporting lawyers in day-to-day legal operations and projects
• Conducting basic legal research (laws, regulations, case practice)
• Assisting in compliance and internal document review
• Tracking deadlines and maintaining legal calendars (contracts, claims, court dates)
• Interaction with other departments on basic legal matters (under supervision)

Qualifications:

• Higher education in legal specialty
• Strong foundation in civil, contract and corporate law
• Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, Knowledge of and English (at least Intermediate)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling
• Ability to work with large volumes of documents
• Good analytical and structured thinking skills
• Self-organization and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and willingness to interact with business teams
• Fast learner with a high level of responsibility and motivation to develop
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
