Risk Management Engineer

Duties:

• Facilitate risk identification workshops with project stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update the project risk register.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and analyses.
• Evaluate the potential impact of risks on project cost, schedule, resources, quality, and safety.
• Support the development of risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Monitor risk triggers and report emerging risks and opportunities.
• Prepare periodic risk management reports and presentations for project management.
• Coordinate with Planning, Cost Control, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and HSE teams to ensure risks are effectively managed.
• Conduct risk reviews and audits to verify the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
• Support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with project and corporate risk management procedures and standards.
• Promote risk awareness and best practices across the project team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in project risk management, preferably within large-scale oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and estimating the impact of project risks.
• Strong understanding of project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost management principles.
• Experience in maintaining risk registers and facilitating risk workshops.
• PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) – Preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred.
• Other recognized risk management certifications will be considered an advantage.
