Solution Engineer (Electrical Engineering Background)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Solar customers on existing and new product features and applications

2. Support Project pre-sales requirements such as reviewing PV strings design, SLD review, Project Specifications and etc. and prepare technical Proposal

3. Products approvals and registration in clear understanding of regulations

4. Support PMO team during customers' meetings & project discussions

5. Supports Marketing promotion events

6. Perform market and competition analysis

7. Pre and post tendering support like RFQ summary note release, Clarification and deviation preparation

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in electrical /Electronics/ Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is not mandatory

Skills & Requirements:

1. Review customer specifications and prepare detailed technical compliance and deviation documents.

2. Review tender/RFQ documents and prepare technical proposals for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.

3. Experience with EPC contractors or IPP/developer projects is required.

4. Strong knowledge of string inverters, central/modular inverters, MV skid configurations, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sizing and design.

5. Prepare technical clarifications, technical offers, and proposal documents in accordance with EPC and developer RFQ requirements.

6. Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and support technical marketing activities and market intelligence.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

8. Knowledge of Russian will be an added advantage. Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and consultants.

9. Coordinate with sales, product management, R&D, and project execution teams to deliver competitive and technically compliant solutions.

10. Support technical workshops, customer meetings, bid clarification meetings, and technical negotiations throughout the project bidding process.

11. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple bids and project deadlines.

Experience:

1. 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Solution Engineer in utility-scale PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design.

2. Minimum 5 years of overall relevant engineering experience.

3. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and project cost estimation.

4. Costing experience will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems, including RMUs, protection schemes, transformers, SCADA systems, and IEC standards.

5. Experience in the EPC industry, project execution/site support, or working with a PV inverter OEM or BESS manufacturer. Previous experience working with a Chinese renewable energy company will be considered an advantage.

6. Good understanding of utility-scale PV and BESS system design, technical proposal preparation, and customer technical support.

7. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
