Cost Controller/QS Engineer (C&S)

Обязанности:

The Cost Controller/QA Engineer is helping the Project Commercial Manager and the Technical Surveyors to quantify, control and document the progress of the project, of the contractors or of the subcontractors.

This position is dedicated to C&S works (poling/metallic structures/concrete/insulation/roof/driveways/ etc)

• Monitoring project costs and procurements including provision of cost data input to establish the project budget; reviewing and certifying contractor ork execution plan, bills and invoices.

• Reviewing contract arrangements: manage change/variation orders; specific contract administration.

• Ensure that commercial management tools, reports, processes and procedures are used by the contractors in accordance with Archetype Group and Project standards.

• Ensure change order management is correctly documented and controlled, ; prepare and float tenders for works; analyse technical detailed of change proposals; negotiate/propose alternative; compare with other projects/methods; prepare recommendations for the client.

• Calculate deliveries and work advancements, compare it with planned or tendered quantities.

• Perform onsite control and inspections.

• Document objective details for arbitrations.

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Kazakh and Russian written and spoken communication skills with a minimum understanding of English.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working on at least 2 different industrial international 6-7 digit projects for a similar position

• Maintain an Advanced knowledge of construction pricing and costs, budgeting, cost reporting and suppliers/contractors in the field of civil engineering in industrial projects

• Advanced attention to detail, particularly in respect to cost plans/ budgets

• Site communication management skills, including demonstrable negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.

• Familiar with CAD files for the purpose of calculating dimensions and quantities.

• Familiar with Excel, including using complex tables and performing cross-table comparatives and extractions

• An exemplary work ethic.

• Are a plus: master degree in a relevant field, fluency in English language, local certification
