Coventry University Kazakhstan is opening its doors in Almaty, and we are looking for a Deputy Registrar to join our growing team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain, update, and secure accurate student records within the management system in compliance with data protection laws
• Coordinate registration, module enrollment, and track student attendance, progression, and retention rates
• Issue official academic documents, including transcripts, enrollment certificates, and graduation letters
• Manage academic timetabling, room bookings, and space allocation to maximize facility utilization
• Oversee examination periods, including scheduling, room assignments, invigilation, and secure paper handling
• Administer assessment results, verify grade sheets, and prepare documentation for Assessment Boards
• Update government portals (eGov.kz, Ministry), manage state scholarship records, and submit data to local authorities (Akimat)
• Compile statistical and analytics reports for internal planning, quality assurance, and partner institutions (Coventry University)
• Serve as primary contact for students and faculty regarding registry policies, inquiries, and academic procedures
• Support audits, quality reviews, policy updates, and act as Secretary to the Student Disciplinary Committee
