Budget Engineer (Project Commercial Management)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost control, and payment collection.
• Prepare and update budgets, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with the owner, consultant, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Support commercial negotiations, variations, reconciliations, and settlements.
• Identify commercial and cost risks and follow up on payment issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project budgeting, cost control, or quantity surveying.
• Experience in large-scale engineering/construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of quantity take-off, budgeting, cost analysis, pricing, and settlement review.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan construction cost regulations; Atyrau local experience is a plus.
