Flagman Primary is inviting a native English-speaking teacher to join our team to work with Grade 5 students and contribute to the development of a bilingual learning environment.

We are looking for an educator who will help students use English as a natural tool for communication, learning, and exploring the world.

Key Responsibilities

* Teach English entirely in English, avoiding frequent transitions to Russian.

* Develop students’ Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing skills.

* Create a natural English-speaking environment through communication, discussions, projects, and practical activities.

* Develop students’ fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammatical accuracy.

* Apply communicative approaches and modern methodologies for teaching English as a foreign language.

* Design interactive lessons that encourage independent thinking and active student participation.

* Adapt learning activities to students’ different levels of English proficiency.

* Apply the CLIL approach and interdisciplinary connections to integrate English into other subject areas.

* Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback.

* Participate in school projects, language-related events, and the development of an English-speaking school culture.

* Collaborate with the school administration, academic team, subject teachers, and parents.

Candidate Requirements

* English is the candidate’s native language.

* A degree in education or a relevant qualification in teaching English as a foreign language.

* Experience teaching school-aged children, preferably at the middle school level.

* Knowledge of modern ESL/EFL teaching methodologies.

* Ability to explain concepts clearly in English using visual materials, examples, and practical activities.

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, respectful, and well-disciplined learning environment.

* Ability to motivate students to speak English confidently and learn from their mistakes.

* Willingness to work in an international and bilingual educational environment.

* Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, initiative, and teamwork skills.
