Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform reservoir engineering studies to support field development, production optimization, and reservoir management activities.
• Analyze reservoir performance data and identify opportunities to improve hydrocarbon recovery.
• Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models, production forecasts, and reserve evaluations.
• Support well planning, drilling, workover, and reservoir surveillance programs.
• Collaborate with Geoscience, Production, and Development teams to deliver integrated reservoir solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, reservoir reviews, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in Reservoir Engineering within the oil and gas industry, including reservoir simulation, reservoir management, production forecasting, and reserve evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir simulation, reserves estimation, production forecasting, and reservoir management.
• Experience with reservoir engineering software such as Eclipse, Petrel, OFM, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of field development planning, well performance analysis, and reservoir surveillance.
• Fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
