Directorate: Production Operations
Higher professional (technical) education with at least 8-10 years’ of relevant experience in technical roles; Significant Brownfield Project Experience.
Experience of driving business improvement in project management, key words being: HSE, pragmatic fit-for-purpose solutions and cost effectiveness.
Demonstrable experience in coaching and improving a local Project skill pool. Fluent English
Coordinates engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of offshore and onshore production projects throughout all lifecycle stages, with focus on the Define and Execute phases, to ensure quality, safety, compliance with standards and effective operational delivery
Defines and sets project goals and tasks, organizes and coordinates execution of projects of varying complexity
- Supports the Select and Define phases in delivery of modifications and plant changes, including development of the Project Execution Plan, cost estimate and obtaining budget approval based on project specifications, as well as effective interface with Discipline Engineering teams;
- Provides team leadership on front-end project needs definition and client agreement using best-in-class approach;
- Coordinates Execute phase: from project specification through detailed design, procurement, construction and pre-commissioning to handover to Operations
- Ensures completeness of project assessments to move through challenge gates;
- Monitors effective use of engineering resources.
- Establishes the Management of Change control procedure to ensure changes are minimized;
- Manages and controls changes in scope, cost and schedule for project change proposals;
- Ensures full compliance of change proposals with Project Delivery Roadmap, MOC procedures and project documentation;
- Coordinates requirements for management decision gates related to technical changes

Planning and Budgeting:
- Prepares project schedules and cost estimates;
- Develops Project Execution Plan, cost estimate and obtains budget approval based on project specifications;
- Establishes cost and schedule control system with Finance and Engineering Contractor.

Risk and Compliance Management:
- Establishes a Risk Management System and ensures mitigation strategies for key risks;
- Ensures risk assessments are conducted for all options considered in the Select phase, considering technology, operability, maintainability, and constructability;

Contracting and Procurement:
- Establishes contracting and procurement strategies, plans and procedures for all project phases;
- Stakeholder & Interface Management:
- Ensures key project interfaces are managed through interface management system;
- Applies teamwork principles between Project Team and Engineering Contractor;
- Manages sensitive correspondence on change proposals and communicates to stakeholders
