KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Claims, disputes and litigation: pre-trial dispute resolution and representation of the Company's interests in courts and arbitration.

• Contract work: drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and agreements; support of the full contract lifecycle and coordination of approvals with the business functions.

• Government authorities and regulatory: interaction with state and enforcement authorities (Antimonopoly Committee, PS KNB RK, KNB RK, prosecution and tax authorities) — single point of contact together with Government Relations, support during inspections; regulatory compliance and maintenance of the permits / licenses register.

• Operational legal support: cargo, logistics and customs matters; employment and labour matters; management of operational and protective legal risks related to airport operations and infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• From 5 years of legal practice (in-house legal function of a large company and/or law firm), including litigation, claims and dispute resolution, regulatory / operational law and hands-on contract work; experience in an international and/or infrastructure environment is an advantage.

• Higher legal education (bachelor's degree or above; LL.B / LL.M or equivalent).

• Civil, corporate, labour, procurement and administrative-procedural law of the RK; litigation and pre-trial dispute resolution; contract law, drafting and negotiation in Russian and English; regulatory compliance, permits and licensing; interaction with government and enforcement authorities.

• Confident PC user: MS Word at advanced level (styles, templates, track changes, document compare), Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; EDMS / 1C, e-signature; legal databases (Adilet, Paragraph, Zakon) and court e-systems (office.sud.kz, e-gov).

• Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Office location - Almaty International Airport.

• Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00).
