Rotating Equipment Team Lead, Atyrau

Ensures the technical integrity, reliability, and safe operation of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines, engines) across all production facilities, including support to projects, commissioning, maintenance activities, and knowledge transfer to national personnel, in compliance with the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Consortium standards, and applicable international standards. Qualification Requirements: High Educational Degree (Bachelor / Master) in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Equipment for the Oil and Gas Industry or/and other related to Mechanical Engineering disciplines

Minimum 8-12 years relevant engineering, maintenance and/or operations experience

Strong English language skills. Field experience gathered from any of the following are required: Mechanical vendors or contractors, Process industry, Oil & gas facilities, Refinery/

Experience in driving business improvement in engineering, key words being technology, fit-for-purpose solutions and cost effectiveness

Experience in leading a small team, staff development, training, coaching and mentoring. Ensures the technical integrity of assets and performs Technical Authority responsibilities for rotating equipment.

Provides expert consultation and approves design solutions, critical work packs, deviations, and modifications, develops and updates standards, procedures, and work processes, participates in strategy development

Develops maintenance and repair strategies, procedures, and programs (turnaround, corrective maintenance, testing, and certification).

Leads and participates in HAZOP, SIL, RBI, risk analysis, and Process Hazard Reviews (PHR).

Supports CMMS (Z6) processes, oversees maintenance quality, and approves corrective actions.

Provides support during commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities at plants.

Leads the Rotating Equipment team.

Assesses the competency of contractors and national personnel.

Organizes training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer activities.

Maintains effective collaboration with shareholders’ engineering networks
