Food Service Distribution Manager (Last Mile)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven FSD Manager to lead our last mile delivery operations. This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding delivery performance, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement while leading a team of dispatchers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day last mile delivery operations to achieve service level, on-time delivery, and cost targets.
• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Optimize route planning, fleet utilization, and delivery capacity.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on delivery failures, customer complaints, and cost inefficiencies.
• Design and implement process improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Manage the Last Mile budget and drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of dispatchers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Warehousing, Stores, Customer Service, and external delivery partners to ensure seamless operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Last Mile Delivery, Logistics Operations, Transportation, or Supply Chain.
• Proven experience managing operational teams, such as dispatchers or coordinators.
• Strong track record of implementing process improvements and delivering measurable operational results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Hands-on experience with TMS, routing software, or logistics platforms.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI is considered an advantage.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English is must.
