Civil Construction Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved IFC drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, QC inspectors, and construction teams.
• Monitor work progress and report daily, weekly, and monthly status updates.
• Monitor and optimize manpower productivity.
• Ensure adequate labor, equipment, and materials are available for planned activities.
• Coordinate workforce allocation with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve site constraints affecting productivity.
• Supervise excavation, backfilling, blinding, foundation construction, and concrete activities.
• Possess sound knowledge of reinforced concrete foundations, pile caps, spread footings, equipment foundations, and underground structures.
• Review formwork, reinforcement, embedded items, and concrete placement activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with survey teams for setting out, benchmarks, and construction verification.
• Verify survey points, coordinates, elevations, and construction tolerances.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved survey data.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site construction experience in industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete foundations, formwork, rebar installation, surveying, and civil construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in large industrial, petrochemical, LNG, refinery, or oil & gas projects.
• Familiarity with construction planning, quantity tracking, and progress monitoring.
• Experience working with multinational contractors and subcontractors.
