Junior Accountant

Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Finance Specialist to handle daily financial operations, including cash management, bookkeeping, and tax filing. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates who are organized, deadline-driven, and bilingual in Chinese and Russian.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Management: Monitor bank balances, process transfers/payments, and reconcile bank statements.

• Bookkeeping: Record all transactions in the accounting system; maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers; assist with month-end closing.

• Tax & Compliance: Prepare and file VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other local returns; ensure timely tax payments and liaise with tax officers.

• Reporting: Generate cash flow summaries, expense reports, and other routine financial statements for internal review.

• Support: Assist Finance Manager/CFO with budget preparation and ad-hoc analysis.

• Documentation: Organize invoices, receipts, and contracts; maintain proper filing for all financial records.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years.

• Technical: Knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations; proficient in Excel and accounting software.

• Language (Essential): Fluent in Russian and Chinese – both written and spoken. English is a plus.

• Soft Skills: High accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, team-oriented, and trustworthy with confidential data.
