Category specialist

Responsibilities:

- Analyzing category sales, margins, and inventory turnover

- Optimizing the assortment matrix

- Managing pricing and promotional effectiveness

- Monitoring the market and competitors

- Preparing analytical reports and recommendations

- Cultivating, caring for and building up the network with the company’s Key Stakeholders (e.g. trade marketing, Sales department) as well as promoting cooperation

- Constant Know-How Transfer and involvement in the OFP meetings (preparation and implementation)

- Analysis of the area and account specific business to find new opportunities

- Ensure implementation of execution standards and “look like number 1”

- Promote cooperation and liaise with key stakeholders in the area

- Constructive feedback based on observations

- Manage sales across e-commerce platforms (marketplaces and company website)

- Plan and achieve targets for revenue, margin, and inventory turnover

- Develop and optimize product assortment (ABC/XYZ analysis)

- Manage product listings: content, pricing, availability, and SEO

- Plan, launch, and monitor promotions, discounts, and special offers

- Analyze sales performance, promotions, and traffic efficiency

- Manage stock levels: reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory, prevent out-of-stock

- Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, IT, and Customer Support teams

- Prepare reports and performance analysis based on KPIs

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years sales and/or TM experience

- In-depth knowledge of the Trade marketing and CatMan

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills

- Have user PPT Office SAP etc.

- Ability to cultivate team environment

- Creative mind

- Exceptional communication skills, including presentation and training abilities

- Travel 20-30%
