Senior Fundraising & Partnerships Manager (Astana Finance Days)

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to drive sponsorship and partnership acquisition for Astana Finance Days (AFD), AIFC's flagship international forum. This role is responsible for achieving the Forum's financial sustainability targets through strategic fundraising, sponsorship sales, partnership development, and long-term stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with international corporations, financial institutions, industry associations, and media partners to secure funding and strengthen AFD's international positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising and sponsorship strategies to achieve AFD financial sustainability targets.
• Identify, qualify, and engage prospective sponsors and partners through proactive outreach.
• Lead sponsorship negotiations and convert opportunities into signed agreements and received funding.
• Prepare compelling sponsorship packages, commercial proposals, pitch decks, and partnership presentations.
• Coordinate sponsorship marketing campaigns with Marketing, Communications, and creative teams.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with international organizations, financial institutions, and media brands.
• Manage sponsorship and partnership agreements throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain and monitor sponsorship pipelines, funding forecasts, and CRM records.
• Coordinate invoicing and payment collection processes with Finance teams.
• Ensure delivery of contractual benefits and maintain sponsor satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports on fundraising performance, partnership development, and sponsorship revenue.
• Support fundraising activities for international editions of AIFC Connect and other assigned initiatives.
• Build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends and identify new partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Communications, Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships, sponsorship sales, or B2B sales.
• Proven track record of securing commercial agreements, sponsorships, or partnership funding.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience preparing partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, and commercial presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong reporting and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience with major forums, conferences, financial institutions, or international business networks will be an advantage.
• Fluency in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
