HR Business Partner / HR Director

Location: Kazakhstan, Shymkent

About the Company

A large manufacturing company with international support and close interaction with the European headquarters. The total headcount in Kazakhstan is approximately 800–900 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business objectives

• Oversee the full scope of HR functions: Compensation & Benefits, HR administration, recruitment, learning & development, onboarding

• Manage and lead the HR team (approximately 10 employees)

• Build and optimize HR processes within a manufacturing environment

• Interact with the European headquarters (policies, procedures, and documentation in English)

• Participate in regular meetings with international stakeholders

• Handle labor relations matters, including employee disputes, and advise the business on labor law

• Work closely with key stakeholders and support business leaders

• Drive corporate culture and organizational effectiveness

Requirements

• Proven experience as HRD or Senior HRBP in a manufacturing company

• Hands-on experience across all HR functions

• Experience managing a team

• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan labor law and experience handling labor disputes

• English – at least Upper-Intermediate (B2), for daily communication with HQ

• Fluency in Kazakh and Russian

• Strong understanding of manufacturing business specifics

• Proactive, mature, and dynamic personality

• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders
