Engineer B 2

At VietJet QAZAQSTAN, we keep our fleet airworthy and our passengers safe. We‘re looking for a qualified B2 Engineer to join our Line Maintenance team - someone with a sharp technical eye, a commitment to safety, and the readiness to perform in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Responsibilities

Perform all types of aircraft maintenance within the approved scope of work, in accordance with aircraft and engine manufacturer documentation, ensuring continued airworthiness at the home base and outstations

Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects in accordance with manufacturer documentation to minimize technical delays and maintain fleet airworthiness

Coordinate with airport services to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations in line with contractual and regulatory requirements

Prepare and process documentation for spare parts, tooling, equipment, and consumables procurement based on identified defects or operational needs

Issue and manage contractor work orders; accept and verify completed work within the framework of contractual obligations and internal procedures

Prepare operational reporting documentation, including shift handover records and aviation event/incident reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy

Participate in emergency response procedures and, where required, support investigations into aviation occurrences and incidents

Operate ground vehicles for the delivery of parts, tools, and equipment to aircraft parking positions

Be available for deployment across Qazaq Air‘s network, including outstations, to support AOG recovery operations

Requirements

Perform line maintenance on avionic and electrical systems of the De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 aircraft in accordance with manufacturer documentation (AMM, WDM, SRM) and applicable regulatory requirements

Carry out fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and defect rectification on avionic systems including navigation, communication, flight management, auto-flight, surveillance, and cockpit display systems

Execute maintenance tasks on aircraft electrical systems, including power generation and distribution, battery systems, external power, and lighting, ensuring continued airworthiness

Conduct functional and operational tests on avionic and electrical systems to verify serviceability following maintenance actions

Inspect, repair, and document Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) defects in accordance with EWIS procedures and manufacturer standards

Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) for completed avionic and electrical maintenance tasks within the scope of the B2 authorisation

Coordinate with B1 engineers and the Line Maintenance Manager on maintenance tasks involving both mechanical and avionic system interfaces requiring combined sign-off

Record all maintenance actions accurately in the Aircraft Technical Log and applicable maintenance documentation systems

Raise and process procurement requests for avionic components, LRUs, and consumables required for maintenance and defect rectification

Support AOG recovery operations across the Qazaq Air network, including outstations, for avionic and electrical system defects

Maintain all personal licences, type ratings, and mandatory certifications in current and valid status at all times
