HSE Specialist

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 years in a similar position;

Basic knowledge of local legislation in the field of occupational safety and health;

Kazakh, Russian and strong Intermediate level of English.

Basic understanding of international standards (huge plus);

Skills in conducting briefings and audits (will be plus);

Willingness to travel to other KPG locations when required (important);

Ability to work with large amounts of information;

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and local regulations across all sites;

Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety trainings for employees;

Carry out routine site inspections and internal HSE audits - track corrective actions;

Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents - prepare analysis and reports;

Develop, review, and update HSE documentation, procedures, and work instructions;

Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment;

Maintain HSE records, statistics, and reporting for management and regulatory authorities;

Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement of HSE culture;

Assist the HSE Team Lead with daily tasks and responsibilities.
