Finance Manager

A subsidiary of Emiral Resources, Alliance for Mining, is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Port Sudan. Emiral Resources is an international group of companies engaged in mining exploration and production in various parts of Africa (the Republic of the Sudan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania) that offers proven expertise in the mining value chain from mineral exploration, production, operation, advisory, and also engineering for mining industry.

Position: Finance Manager

Location: Port Sudan

Required skills and experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Economic (Financial, Accounting);

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field/role;

3. English and Russian speaker;

Responsibilities:

1. Managing all the processes in the department,

2. Budget planning and controlling,

3. Analysis of budget planned and actual, comparison of planned and actual indicators including production,

4. Interaction with IT on automation of accounting,

5. Implementation of current financial, economic and analytical tasks of the department:

5.1. posting of PO, CPO and AS in 1С,

5.2. following up with payment list,

5.3. payment orders in hard currencies,

5.4. primary processing of Expats expense and advance reports,

5.5. control over cash book closing (balance reconciliation with bank statements, cost center verification),

5.6. monthly closing of production reports in 1C,

5.7. audit of accounts receivable,

5.8. preparation of export documents for product export,

5.9. preparation of requests to Insurer for issuing insurance policies,

5.10. conducting inventory of assets and liabilities,

5.11. calculations of prices when selling product to Refinary,

5.12.calculation of cost of works/services, analysis of internal prices/tariffs applied in the company,

5.13. interaction with SMRC in terms of the company's reporting,

5.14. audit of accounting entries on expat wages,

5.15. conducting set-off settlements on revenue with ATS on a quarterly basis.
