Senior HR manager of the Graduate School of Business (Maternity leave cover)

Please note that this is a maternity leave cover position, which is temporary in its nature.

Responsibilities

• Support the School’s HR strategy, policies, and workforce planning.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment of academic and administrative staff.
• Coordinate selection and competitive hiring processes.
• Handle HR administration: appointments, transfers, dismissals, leave, business trips, contracts, personnel files, and HR systems.
• Support onboarding, employee development, performance management, and career progression.
• Monitor workforce, turnover, labor discipline, and HR-related analytics.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
• Prepare HR reports, documents, policies, and analytical materials.
• Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan labor and education legislation.

Requirements

Education: HR Management, Education Management, Public Administration, Law, or International Affairs.

Knowledge: Kazakhstan labor and education legislation, HR administration, MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint.

Skills: Recruitment & HR administration, policy and document drafting, project management, presentation, analytical and organizational skills.

Languages: Fluent in English, Kazakh, and Russian.
