Demand & supply planner

An international FMCG company is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to join its Supply Chain team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze historical sales, market trends and business inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts and demand plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations to validate assumptions, analyze forecast deviations and establish the consensus demand plan.
• Translate the agreed demand plan into an effective supply plan, taking into account supply, logistics and operational constraints.
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly supply plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify risks of stock-outs and overstock.
• Analyze demand and supply imbalances and coordinate actions to ensure product availability.
• Monitor inventory coverage and Days of Supply against target levels.
• Support new product launches and product phase-outs from a planning perspective.
• Maintain accurate planning and master data in relevant systems.
• Participate in the monthly S&OP process and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders and partners to improve forecast accuracy and supply planning efficiency.

• Accurate and timely demand and supply plans aligned with business requirements.
• Optimal inventory levels ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Achievement of key Supply Chain KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy and Service Level.
• Timely identification and mitigation of demand, supply and inventory risks.
• Continuous improvement of planning processes through root cause analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Effective collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations and other key stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Good understanding of forecasting, inventory management and supply chain planning processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP and/or other planning systems.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent English.
