We are seeking to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify individual needs, develop appropriate support strategies, and help every student reach their full potential. Experience in an international school environment and the ability to adapt easily to new cultures will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:

Identify and assess students’ individual educational and developmental needs;

Develop and implement individualized learning and support strategies;
-
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs;
-
Adapt learning activities and materials to meet students’ abilities, learning styles, and individual needs;
-
Support students with learning, communication, behavioral, social, and emotional difficulties;
-
Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure appropriate differentiation and inclusive teaching practices;
-
Monitor, document, and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback;
-
Develop and maintain individual education and support plans where appropriate;
-
Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, parents, and other specialists to provide comprehensive student support;

Provide guidance and practical strategies to teachers to support students with additional learning needs;

Promote students’ independence, confidence, social skills, and participation in school life;
-
Support positive behavior and help create a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment;
-
Maintain accurate records of students’ progress, interventions, and support provided;
-
Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development, and school events;
-
Contribute to the development of the school’s wider inclusion and student support program.
Our requirements:

Higher Degree/Diploma in Special Education, Psychology, Education, SEN, or a related field;

At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an international school;

Strong understanding of inclusive education, child development, and differentiated learning;
-
Experience developing and implementing individualized learning or support plans;

Knowledge of effective strategies for supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs;

Fluency in English is a must;

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;

High sense of responsibility, patience, empathy, energy, and flexibility;
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team;

Willingness to adapt to a new culture and international school environment.
