Music Teacher (Primary School / PYP)

Kazakhstan International School in Astana (KIS Astana) invites a talented, energetic, and passionate Music Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Instruction & Curriculum: Deliver high-quality music lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic schedule.

• Practical Training: Teach new musical pieces, helping students develop their vocal techniques and instrumental skills.

• Extracurricular Activities: Prepare students for music competitions, festivals, and school concerts.

• Event Coordination: Actively participate in the planning and execution of school-wide cultural, artistic, and creative events.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Education: A university degree or specialized secondary diploma in Music, Music Education, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching music (prior experience working in international schools is a distinct advantage).

Language Skills:

• Fluency in Kazakh and Russian, with English proficiency at C1 (Advanced) level or higher, is mandatory. Lessons and daily communications take place within a diverse international community.

Key Competencies:

• High level of professional responsibility and strong communication skills.

• Ability to multitask effectively and find an individual approach to children of various age groups.
