Lead Electrical-Engineer

Responsibilities

The major role of a Lead Electrical Engineer is to review the project design documentation provided by Design Contractor, supervise the construction activities of electrical systems and its components such as power generation and distribution systems, motors, control systems and electrical equipment, which are commonly used for processing and producing energy as per the project needs.

• Lead and supervise all electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve electrical design documents, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable RoK codes, standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with other engineering disciplines, EPC contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the electrical engineering team.
• Support procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Monitor project schedule, quality, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely project execution.
• Participate in design reviews, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical system design and implementation.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in power generation, industrial, energy projects, including leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the discipline concerned
• Work experience (at least 1 project) in a similar position from Customer side or PMC consultant in EPC projects in an Energy industries (full scale Energy or O&G field development or other project of similar scope and complexity)
• ENG (preferred)/RU/CHN (would be added value)
