О вакансии
- Provide overall scientific, strategic, administrative, and operational leadership of the Center.
- Ensure achievement of the Center's KPIs, including targets for publications, research impact, governmental and industrial projects, external funding, international partnerships, and commercialization.
- Define research priorities, supervise the project portfolio, and ensure delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, and expected outcomes.
- Initiate and attract governmental grants, industrial projects, international programs, and other sources of research funding.
- Establish and maintain strategic international partnerships with universities, research institutes, nuclear organizations, and industrial companies.
- Identify promising scientific and technological projects and lead the search for investors, industrial partners, and other financing sources for their development and commercialization.
- Represent the Center in negotiations with governmental bodies, national companies, industrial partners, investors, funding agencies, and international organizations.
- Manage laboratories, personnel, budgets, infrastructure, and other resources of the Center.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate employees; build a culture of scientific excellence, initiative, collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable institutional requirements, research ethics, nuclear and radiation safety, and regularly report the Center's performance to University management.

- Conduct and develop fundamental and applied research in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, radiation technologies, nuclear materials, and related interdisciplinary areas.
- Develop and implement the Center's scientific and technological strategy in line with University and national research priorities.
- Achieve high-quality scientific outputs, including publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
- Attract governmental, industrial, international, and other externally funded research projects.
- Develop long-term cooperation with leading universities, research centers, nuclear-industry organizations, governmental bodies, and industrial partners in Kazakhstan and abroad.
- Identify promising research directions and projects with scientific, technological, commercialization, and investment potential.
- Ensure effective use and development of research infrastructure and compliance with nuclear, radiation, laboratory, and research-safety requirements.
- Develop highly qualified researchers, engineers, postdoctoral researchers, and students.
