- Preparing draft budget requests and budgets for research projects/programs, preparing explanatory notes for budget items in collaboration with the project/program manager
- Adjusting budgets for research projects/programs, preparing explanatory notes for budget items in collaboration with the project/program manager
- Preparing information for budget execution forecasts, providing a budget execution cost plan in agreement with project managers
- Searching and requesting price proposals (RP), incl. Alternative CPs
- Preparation of technical specifications for purchased goods (based on data provided by initiators – project/program managers) in the approved form for projects/programs implemented under grant and program-targeted funding from the Scientific Research Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as sponsorship funds
- Preparation of documents for customs clearance of purchased goods (preparation of technical descriptions for goods, preparation of letters to authorized government agencies, payment of duties, fees, and taxes (if necessary)
- Preparation of a package of documents according to approved forms for the purchase of goods
- Monitoring the execution of a purchase order until the parties fulfill their obligations under the contract
- Preparation of memos on the hiring and transfer of research workers
- Organization of goods acceptance
- Preparation of acts for the write-off of goods and the return of defective goods (including equipment), correspondence in the event of failure during the product warranty period
- Preparation of payment requests
- Preparation of documents and initiation of payment of travel expenses for project team members and project participants
- Preparation Representation expenses, organizing visits of consultants and project partners to Kazakhstan (visa support, finding and renting housing, and renting vehicles)
- Preparing and concluding contracts with individuals (residents/non-residents) – contract approval, monitoring implementation, and preparing reporting documents with the participation of the legal department
- Preparing and concluding contracts with legal entities for services, work, and goods (preparing technical specifications, approving draft contracts, monitoring implementation, and preparing reporting documents) with the participation of the legal department; preparing and submitting purchase orders for goods in accordance with the terms of framework agreements. At the same time, ensuring the protection of the financial, copyright, and other interests of the institution
- Timely preparation and submission of original documents for the purchase of goods, work performed, and services rendered to the Institution's Accounting and Tax Department
