Logistics specialist

An international FMCG company is looking for a Logistics Specialist to coordinate day-to-day logistics operations and ensure the smooth flow of products, materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, shipments and deliveries.
• Coordinate inbound and transit shipments and monitor their status and timely execution.
• Prepare and control the full cycle of shipping and logistics documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, acts and other supporting documents.
• Prepare documentation for customs clearance and work closely with customs brokers and logistics partners.
• Manage product and material movements in SAP, including goods receipt, write-offs and transfers.
• Maintain accurate records of products, materials and equipment and participate in regular inventories.
• Coordinate logistics operations for POS materials, marketing materials and event-related equipment and materials.
• Organize and support tenders for logistics and operational services.
• Monitor logistics costs, service levels and operational performance.
• Prepare analytical reports, including inventory turnover and other logistics-related indicators.
• Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, 3PL providers and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues related to shipments, deliveries, documentation and warehouse processes.
• Interact with relevant government authorities on logistics, certification, audits and other operational matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Practical experience in transportation, warehousing and shipment coordination.
• Understanding of import/export and customs clearance processes.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and 3PL providers.
• Experience with logistics documentation and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• English — Upper-intermediate or higher.
• Experience in FMCG or an international company is an advantage.
• Experience with POS, marketing or event-related materials and equipment is an advantage.
• Experience participating in logistics tenders and supplier selection is an advantage.
