Director, Finance

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Company‘s financial strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans.

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.

Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, financial reporting, and IFRS compliance.

Manage cash flow, liquidity, financing activities, and financial risks.

Prepare financial models and support strategic investment and route profitability decisions.

Lead external and internal audits and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and government authorities.

Drive finance digitalization, ERP implementation, and reporting automation.

Develop and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering continuous improvement.

Requirements

Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.

MBA, EMBA, Master‘s degree, or professional qualifications (CFA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA) are highly preferred.

At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or corporate strategy, including 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role.

Experience with financial planning, budgeting, IFRS reporting, taxation, and corporate finance.

Experience working with ERP systems, financial analytics, and process automation.

Aviation, transportation, or large corporate experience is an advantage.

Fluent in Kazakh and Russian; English Upper-Intermediate or above is mandatory.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
