Supervisor, Accounting & Reporting

VietJet Qazaqstan is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Supervisor, Accounting & Reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely recording of company expenses;

Review primary accounting documents and contracts for compliance with Kazakhstan legislation and company requirements;

Maintain accounting records in accordance with IFRS;

Prepare and monitor accruals as part of the period-end closing process;

Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and perform reconciliations with counterparties;

Participate in the preparation of financial and intercompany reporting;

Work with 1C 8.2/8.3 and SAP BO PC;

Review payment documents and settlements with suppliers;

Participate in inventory counts;

Prepare documents and information for internal and external auditors;

Support the automation and improvement of accounting processes.

Requirements

Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Economics, or a related field;

At least 8 years of total work experience, including 6 years of relevant professional experience;

Professional Accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan certificate;

Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

Confident user of 1C 8.2/8.3, SAP BO PC, and Excel;

Experience in financial reporting, period-end closing, and working with auditors;

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with large volumes of information;

Fluency in Kazakh and Russian;

English at Pre-Intermediate level or above will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

DipIFR / ACCA;

Tax Consultant of the Republic of Kazakhstan certificate;

Additional professional certifications in accounting or audit.
