Job Purpose:

The Corporate Relations Manager at Coventry University Kazakhstan is to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations to enhance the university’s reputation and create opportunities for student placements, internships, and graduate employment. This role is pivotal in securing funding and sponsorships, aligning corporate needs with academic programs, and fostering relationships that contribute to the university’s mission, values, strategic objectives and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish partnerships with local, regional, and international businesses, industry associations, and government agencies.

• Develop and implement strategies to engage with corporate partners, ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic objectives.

• Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the university and its programs.

• Act as a key point of contact for corporate inquiries and coordinate responses in collaboration with relevant departments.

• Collaborate with academic departments to create internship, placement, and employment opportunities for students.

• Liaise with corporate partners to understand their talent needs and align these with student skillsets and university programs.

• Identify potential sources of funding, including sponsorships, grants, and corporate donations.

• Manage relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring compliance with funding agreements.

• Contribute to the development of the university’s corporate relations strategy and annual business plan.

• Monitor industry trends and conduct market research to identify opportunities for collaboration.
